Our boutique consultancy is led by Mayu Mishina, a communications leader with more than 15 years of experience shaping brand narratives for mission-driven organizations.

A strategic thinker and systems integrator, Mayu has led communications and organizational initiatives for national and international organizations alike. Her experience ranges from branding and fundraising communications to event organization and stakeholder management. She has worked in the conservation, international development, social justice, and higher education sectors, among others.

Mayu has created award-winning donor publications, developed the brand voice for advocacy campaigns, overhauled websites and social media channels for major organizations, and much more. She most recently served as senior director for strategic communications at Tanager, where she spearheaded thought leadership efforts that helped the organization obtain nearly $40 million in funding.
